I was actually worried about the pizza...we're vegetarians with vegan sympathies, and my in-laws are fairly traditional. I'd made some "sausage" style seitan earlier in the week to put on the pizza, and I knew we would like it, but I wasn't sure about serving it to omnis. However, they were good sports about it.
The pizza was awesome, btw...I made the crust in my breadmachine (lazy), used tomato paste instead of sauce (tangy), and covered that with a layer of fresh green and purple basil and a few fuzzy oregano leaves (garden). Then some cheese (dairy, b/c of the in-laws) and the sausage seitan. It was yummy...I wish I'd taken a picture of it!
